Applied Materials, the largest semiconductor manufacturer in the world, wanted to create an exciting new web site to integrate with its existing corporate site to announce the opening of its new Equipment Processing Integration Center (EPIC). The site needed to explain complex processes and technology to a non-technical audience as well as convey the important benefits of the new center to the future of the company.
S o l u t i o n
GCM created a cutting-edge interface design with minimal text content. Most details of the EPIC product offering were presented in graphic form through the extensive use of rollovers, photos and diagrams. The unique visual design provided a successful addition to the Applied Materials corporate Internet site.
