S c e n a r i o Fujitsu Microelectronics Inc. (FMI) is a large multi-divisional organization. FMI needed a comprehensive solution that allowed its eleven product groups to quickly and easily update news, product information, and other content. In addition, all branding and content updates were to be centrally managed by marketing personnel. S o l u t i o n GCM created a corporate web site that is nearly 100% database driven. The extensive site administration system includes a robust, scaleable browser-based web content management system (WCMS) that is now in its fifth year of operation. Site content and update responsibility is distributed among the eleven product groups, which have access to dedicated WCMS interfaces. All updates and changes are displayed on the master interface, accessed and managed by the marketing department. |
