Oracle wanted an interactive game for the 2002 North American Sales Kickoff event that attendees in all locations could play in real-time.

And they needed it in five weeks.

Working with In Vision Communications, a video and event production company, GCM created Oracleopoly, with a Flash gameboard featuring aminated dice, game pieces and other elements. Built using Java, XML and Oracle 9i, the game was hosted live by Ben Stein, and played among 14 North American locations during the event.

Attendees in each location were divided into four teams, which answered Oracle-specific questions displayed on the game board. Excitement ran high as answers from each location either advanced a team's position or was incorrect.
